you : /post S> Pair kantata = 60 rows
player : /post > Overprice Dude!
you : /post > idc, that's my price i want it!
player : > no one interesting to buy that, its overprice

so, other player won't be interested to buy it because they have idea coz its "Overprice"
that's the reason why other seller put "offer" "VGO" or "Pm me"

it's like "Marketing strategy"
let's assume that your target is 60 rows for pair kantata in that case. If you do post S> pair kantata = 60 rows, you will save many time for you and buyer, because you negotiate with all of buyer at the same time, instead of 1 buyer.
Now, if you /post S> pair kantata = offer, if you get any offer, the buyer will always give you lower price. Then, both do negotiate until the price reach your target, or the buyer loose their patience and ask "how many do you want then?". You say 60 rows and he says overprice, then he leaves ofc. And you do post S> pair kantata = offer rows again. After 3 - 4 negotiation like that, you choose to lower price, and you do post S> pair kantata = offer again.
what if buyer tell you "overprice dude" when you /post S> pair kantata = 60 rows? It's absolute exactly time to use "Offer".

If you don't want to public the price in post, you can still post S> item = pm me / offer. Just give buyer a price when they pm you "How much?"

well, that's marketing work or should I say business work..
win or lose and take it or leave it!

yes! buyer will give offer lower price, the seller knows that in the first place.
however, some seller put it into higher price intentionally because he/she (Seller) knows that the buyer will negotiate in lower price.
there are things like that when it comes to sales!

it's just like you've been in Public Market in real life.. negotiation, bargaining

that's exactly the point, public market in real life. I believe in real life all item has its starting price given by the seller right.

After all, we don't have the rules for buyer + seller so that "offer" is nothing wrong. However, i have a little suggestion for buyer. Whenever you ask price from seller, if they reply "Offer", then tell he / she "I offer you 1 row, if you don't like my offer, tell me how many you expect."

yes! it has starting price like in convient store.
all their items are fix price and there's no need to negotiate or bargaining

However,Public Market are open area.
there! you can make a deal, negotiate even bargaining.
and that is what's happening ingame for marketing.

anyways, that's my opinion Ms. @Miyeon after all..
it's between seller and buyer how they deal with it!

that's why Admin put the Market Place for our co-players to have guide when it comes in marketing..
unluckily, for those players who didn't join in Forum Community..

Thanks
Have a nice day!

It is a gimmick that turned into a tradition with nonsensical value, it's plain outright pointless, imagine you asked how much since you dont know whats the price in their head but hey they said "OooFFeeR", WTF moment right, to the part of the Gimmick they say " OOooFfer" its for those who did not price checked the item before initiating the conversation and just plain outrightly PM 60rows for a ring of ares or another uber ring big win right imagine you were that player and you were happy you bought it for 60ROWS and then someone told you that exact price you felt that agony right?. those who are still doing this are scumbags waiting for a big catch.

P.S.
Not harmful?
Yeah Right
