More permissions for Infinitian rank.

Hello,


Today i would like to suggest more permissions for:

Infanitian user rank

infinitian.gif



At least to can reply in sections like: Tech Support .


I'm asking for this, because we can help too at those sections, so i think can be useful.

Well i was suggesting this long ago... But anyway this one's good. There are infinitians who knows a lot about game and etc., and who can really help..
I know some of you guys might think, if it would be allowed then there will be lots of spam.. but think.. why the hell we got mod team? :D
In so many words i agree with this :D

+1 for you tech :) i agree with it .. yah why we do we have MOD TEAM if we worried about Spam's right =)
 
I already told you in our chat my reason for being against this, that is I think it'll bring more spam then helpful suggestions. Already as you said we got posts like "ask admin to help" etc. which is unnecessary and some members don't know this.

On the other hand I do feel an upgrade for active, loyal, and helpful forumer's would be good such as adding a new vbulletin promotion (it's possible) so once a user's reached a certain amount of posts he can access the mentioned section.
 
I agree with DARTHVADER. I don´t think would be good to open this sections posts for everyone because many members are going to make spam.

But i say yes to give write privileges to Infinitian users who shows his/ her wish to help others with useful answers in other sections. Maybe a new forum tag like helper or something, to the user with a lot of useful posts, that grants them write access in Tech support.

But there are Mods can delete them. i agree on this, helping is a way of sharing your learning through this community.
 
but as u can see and its pretty obvious that spammer's those who are in vip members =)

Already we got this tag and is Supporters , another forum tag like this would be useless.

As tech said for that we got MODERATORS, they can do their job cleaning there, also there can be added a new rule about Tech Support Section, or something like that.

Supporter rank is not the same. I´m talking about permissions only for answering in tech support section. And about adding a forum rule, you know that sadly, that doesn´t avoid spam. We are glad to do our job and clean all the trash in here, but opening a section to everyone just for seeing tons of spam posts, wouldn´t have sense.

It's the same thing Euge <.<! And yeah sadly most of our users don't follow our forum rules, i know the mod team is glad to help us.

However, let's wait for venci.

We're here to clean spam, but we are also here to prevent spam :), so it would be better not to open a situation or give people the opportunity to spam unless the positive was really good.

Personally I don't care that much about allowing it but as you can see now usually problems are solved by either the current members helping or by RESiSTANT (if no one else finds solutions usually he does relatively fast, he's teh expert" + we don't want users giving false information as solutions to cause more confusion.
 
I totally agree with this, I know some infinitian have more knowledge in tech support rather that those who have higher ranks. Also I know we got great moderator team that cleans spam. If your saying that this would be another job come to think that its only Tech Support area added and also people post there sometimes.
 
Infinitians usergroup and all other groups which wasn't able to post in Tech Support section now is able to post.
