By fate's cruel twist, her bond is scarred.

In silence she mourn, in darkness she dwell,
A fallen Elf, her tale they tell.
Innocent love, now lost in night,

Since first I've seen such an event.. I felt it's time to train some brain.

Every entry is good, but for me what stand out the most is the entry of @HAMBURGERSnFRIES . It is because of the famous line roses are red, violets are blue is very consistent with the theme in this love month. Also, in picking my vote, i based on the following criteria which was given.
